QA Lead

Provide functional test analysis, planning, design, execution and reporting for testing assignments.Develop approaches for various types of testing (SIT, UAT etc) for webUI and database applications Lead Test initiative and train the team as necessary.Ensure accurate and timely execution of the assigned tasks.Estimation & Milestone planning for the project and provide estimates for Testing.Highlight Risk and issues to senior managementFor the specific testing project, support the Project Test Manager(s) by contributing to the Test Plan(s) for the relevant test phases, the Test Readiness Reviews, test progress reporting, the Test CompletionSummary Reports and Test Defect Reports.Prepare where required: Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data, Test Coverage analysis for a given testing assignment.Work closely with the stakeholders or other groups in preparation and execution of the planned functional testing.Play a lead role in the analysis and reporting of test results, working closely with business, technology and support areas to investigate and interpret test findings.Assist in the reception and quality assurance of the business requirements, solution design and business process documents individual projects. Sound knowledge of Defect Management Process and handling its different phases.Able to take Defect and Client calls with quick responsiveness on asked actionsHands on experience on developing help guides User Manual MIS reports.As a member of the Test Work stream, participate in peer reviews of Test Approaches, Test Plans, Test Conditions and Test Scripts as well as contributing to the on-going development of test strategy and policy within the Testing Programme.Track the schedule and testing progress and be accountable for the tasks and releases.Manage meetings and defect calls independentlyEnsure innovative solution for challenging deliveriesKnowledge of Agile and Risk based testing and Ensure process improvementsAble to handle a cross functional team of Test Analysts, Leads and Automation developersQualifications and experience:10-12 years of testing lifecycle experience in Investment Banking domain.Minimum 8 years of hands on experience in Securities and Fund Services domain.Bachelor'sUniversity degree or equivalent experience.Experience in migrating manual testing processes to automated solutionsExperience in managing testing at all levels (Unit through Performance)Extensive working experience of all phases of STLC , is Agile, Waterfall and Scrum methodologiesMust possess sound knowledge on Trade Processing Fund Accounting Reconciliation.Exposure to global client and understanding of global work cultureExcellent written and spoken communication skillsStrong analytical skills, detail orientation and service commitment.Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes multiple tasks and meets strict deadlines.Must be prepared to work in a shift in line with regions supported including India night shiftsInnovative approach to work and continuously identify and implement process improvementsExcellent project and time management skillsStrong organizational and management skillsStrong communication and networking skillsAbility to influence change at difference levels of the organizationDesirableDetailed practical experience of the use of JIRAExpertise in MS Office application particularly in ExcelISTQB or ISEB testing qualifications preferredExperience in Fund Accounting applications like MCHe-Horizon
