Position: SAP PP Functional ConsultantLocation: Hybrid in Mundelein office three days a week ( local candidate)Duration: 18-24 monthsJob Description:SAP S4 HANA PP Functional ConsultantWork location: Mundelein, IL (Hybrid)We are seeking an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP PP solutions for manufacturing and production planning processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including logistics, finance, and procurement, to ensure seamless integration and optimization of the production process.Key Responsibilities:Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP solutionsConfigure SAP PP modules to support manufacturing processes such as demand planning, MRP (Material Requirements Planning), BOM (Bill of Materials), and shop floor controlCollaborate with business users to design end-to-end production planning processes, including capacity planning, scheduling, and material flowDevelop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and UAT (User Acceptance Testing)Support the creation of functional and technical specifications for any customizations or enhancements requiredProvide guidance and training to end-users on SAP PP functionalityTroubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems related to SAP PPWork with cross-functional teams to ensure proper integration of SAP PP with other SAP modules (such as MM, SD, and FI)Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and enhancements to optimize business processesMaintain documentation related to SAP PP configuration and processesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field5+ years of experience as an SAP PP Consultant or in a related roleStrong hands-on experience in SAP PP module implementation, configuration, and supportIn-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and shop floor controlExperience with SAP S4HANA is requiredStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical teamsSAP certification in PP module is a plusPreferred Skills:Knowledge of SAP integration with other modules such as SAP MM, SD, and QMExperience in working with global teams and managing offshore development resourcesFamiliarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies
