Leveraged Finance Portfolio Manager

Our client, a specialty finance firm in Chicago, IL is currently seeking a Leveraged Finance Portfolio Manager to join their growing team. The incumbent will be responsible for performance monitoring, in-depth credit analysis of existing investments and required to be in the office three days a week. Responsibilities All aspects of portfolio management including credit analysis, monitoring performance and measuring covenant complianceMaintain a thorough understanding of deal capital structures and business plansParticipate in Underwriting and Investment Committee discussionsLead amendments, waivers and consent process for portfolio transactionsLead restructurings of troubled transactions and coordinate with loan workout groupWork with Capital Markets and Syndications team in sell down of loan exposuresQualifications Bachelor's in Accounting, Finance or related major Over five years of experience in leveraged finance or specialty lending Experience underwriting middle market transactions Strong financial modeling skills Knowledge of cash flow modelinganalysis and valuation skills Excellent oral and written communication skillsStrong work ethic and team player
