Staff Data Platform Engineer

We strive to transform smart electric vehicles with technology and data, shaping the mobility experience of the future.We're looking for people who are as excited as we are to solve the complex technical challenges in autonomous driving, see the results of your work in massive production EV cars and make tremendous impact on our future.Job Responsibilities:Design and implement the state of the art real time analytics platform for Autonomous Driving data.Act as the major contributor to the evolution of data architecture, includes applying emerging data frameworks and tools, debugging and resolving technical difficulties, promoting best practices etc.Develop data monitoring and validation framework, continuously improving the data quality and system stability.Basic Qualifications: MS in Computer Science or equivalent (in lieu of degree, relevant work experience); 5+ years of working experience in data platform or infrastructure.Strong software design and coding skills using PythonJavaScala; very familiar with data structures, algorithms.Strong knowledge of distributed systems and hands on working experience of Big Data ecosystem components, such as Spark, Hadoop, Flink, Kafka, Delta Lake, Hudi, Elastic Search, ClickHouse etc.Able to effectively model and design data warehouse(Kimball etc.).Work well independently, demonstrate problem-solving abilities by investigating, analyzing, drawing conclusions, effectively communicating with stakeholders to get assignment done.Passionate about self-driving technology; excellent communication skills and strong teamwork spirit.Preferred Qualifications:Expertise in developing real-time streaming data products.Hands-on experience of working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure etc.What do we provide:A fun, supportive and engaging environmentOpportunity to make significant impact on the transportation revolution by means of advancing autonomous drivingOpportunity to work on cutting edge technologies with the top talent in the fieldCompetitive compensation packageSnacks, lunches and fun activitiesThe base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $300,000, in addition to bonus, equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations.
