An established, growing and profitable company is looking to add a General ManagerManaging Director to their team near Eureka, IL. Responsibilities:Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectivesEnsure employees are motivated and productiveOversee day-to-day operations and make adjustments as necessaryPresent operational strategy recommendations to the PresidentOwnerPrepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activitiesManage budgets, develop and implement budgets plans for the department and companyBuild and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholdersEnsure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated and followed at all timesAssess overall company performance against objectivesRepresent the company in events, conferences etc. Qualifications:Degree in Business, Engineering, Manufacturing related, required.Minimum of 5-7+ years proven experience as a General Manager or similar executive role, requiredExperience in developing profitable strategies and implementing vision, requiredStrong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles, requiredIndustrial Manufacturing environment experience, requiredFamiliarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance -depth knowledge of corporate governance and general management best practicesAn entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills
