With a focus on engineering excellence and operational efficiency, they are dedicated to delivering high-impact solutions while maintaining the highest standards in technology and service.Job DescriptionAs a DevOps Engineer on the API Gateway project, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing the CICD processes for a critical gateway platform. This platform acts as the primary entry point for all external traffic into the company's ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include automating deployment processes, improving system resilience, and writing and maintaining automation scripts. You will work closely with a diverse team of engineers and stakeholders to ensure that deployment and rollback processes are efficient and reliable. This role requires expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and scripting languages, with a strong focus on continuous integration and delivery.Duties and ResponsibilitiesOversee and enhance the CICD pipeline for the API gateway platform.Write and maintain automation scripts using Groovy and Python.Develop and optimize Jenkins pipelines, including automation of rollback processes.Work with Kubernetes on AWS to customize components and tegrate infrastructure builds with application deployment processes.Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment efficiency and platform resilience.Manage and troubleshoot deployment issues to ensure minimal disruption.Participate in operational reviews and provide ongoing support to ensure project success.Required ExperienceSkillsProven experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on CICD processes.Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, AWS, and cloud infrastructure.Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Groovy.Experience with Jenkins and automation of deployment processes.Familiarity with Argo CD and Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab).Basic knowledge of Java and Gradle is beneficial for understanding integration tests and code.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Nice-to-HavesExperience with Java and understanding of Java-based code and integration tests.Knowledge of additional CICD tools and technologies.Experience with large-scale deployment and management of complex systems.EducationRelevant degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.Pay & Benefits SummaryCompetitive rate - $84.00hr.
