Job Title: E-Commerce ArchitectLocation: Remote, travel as needed to headquarters in Cleveland, OHTerms: 6-12 month contract with likelihood of hireAbout Us:Our customer is on a mission to transform their customer digital commerce experiences. As we stand up a brand-new commerce platform, we're seeking an E-Commerce Architect who can lead technical initiatives, streamline custom application development, and accelerate time-to-market for our customer experience platforms. We're moving towards an Adobe AEM solution to overcome current development challenges and bring a cohesive, scalable system to life.Role Overview:As the E-Commerce Architect, you'll play a critical role in defining the technical architecture for our commerce platform. We're looking for someone who has led or held a senior technical position in major e-commerce platform implementations like Adobe CommerceMagento, HCL Commerce, Spryker, or similar platforms. Your expertise will be key to integrating best-in-class solutions, ensuring platform scalability, and improving the overall customer experience.Responsibilities:Architect and implement a cohesive e-commerce platform strategy, leveraging AEM and other industry-leading solutions.Drive the technical vision for a new commerce platform, integrating with custom applications in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Lead end-to-end design and execution of the platform, ensuring interoperability between customer experience applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address pain points in the current development approach and establish efficient workflows.Ensure that the new platform is flexible and scalable to meet business needs across multiple customer experience touchpoints.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in e-commerce architecture, with hands-on technical leadership in platform implementations.Proven experience with platforms like Adobe Commerce (Magento), HCL Commerce, Spryker, or similar.Strong background in designing scalable architectures, custom applications, and experience with AEM (Adobe Experience Manager).Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, driving forward projects and guiding the team in architectural best practices.Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to overcoming technical challenges.Why Join Us?Shape and own the architecture of a transformative commerce platform from the ground up.Collaborate with a driven team in a flexible, forward-thinking petitive compensation, opportunities for career advancement, and the chance to impact a growing digital commerce space.
