They are seeking a talented Estimator with 5-10 years of experience to join their team and contribute to their ongoing success.Position Summary: The Estimator will play a critical role in analyzing project costs, preparing budgets, and developing bid proposals for high-end commercial and institutional projects. Working closely with project teams and reporting to senior leadership, the Estimator will ensure that all estimates align with project requirements and deliver value for clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact within a reputable firm in the New York market.Key Responsibilities:Review project documents, including blueprints, drawings, and specifications, to prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates.Generate material take-offs and labor estimates for commercial interior and institutional construction projects.Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members to collect necessary project information and pricing.Develop and present cost estimates and bid proposals to clients, aligning with project objectives and budget constraints.Track and update project budgets throughout the project lifecycle, identifying and advising on any budget deviations.Cultivate a network of reliable suppliers and subcontractors for competitive pricing.Participate in value engineering efforts, identifying cost-effective solutions while maintaining project quality.Qualifications:5-10 years of experience in estimating within the commercial construction industry, with specific expertise in the New York market.Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., Timberline, ProEst) and the Microsoft Office Suite.Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret technical documents and accurately assess project requirements.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering quality and precision in all pensation and Benefits:Salary: $140,000 - $180,000, plus a competitive packageComprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) plan with company matchGenerous paid time off and company holidaysProfessional development opportunities
