Sr Project Manager-Renewable Natural Gas Generation

Our client is currently looking for a Senior Project Manager - Renewable Natural Gas Generation in Bakersfield, CA. Great direct hire position. The Senior Project Manager will lead and manage a team of engineers for a multi-site renewable natural gas generation project throughout Central California. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, design, andexecution of engineering projects, ensuring they meet technical specifications, adhere toestablished timelines and stay within budget constraints. In this role, you will drive continuousimprovement, manage cross-functional teams, and ensure compliance with industry standardsthroughout the project lifecycle. You will also be tasked with mitigating risks, solving complexengineering challenges and ensuring successful project delivery. RESPONSIBLITIES:- Lead and manage a multidisciplinary team of engineers in delivering design projects.- Oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation, ensuringalignment with project objectives.- Ensure that engineering solutions comply with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.- Coordinate with stakeholders to align project goals and deliverables.- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep the project on track.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering staff.- Drive innovation in engineering processes to enhance efficiency and sustainability.- Prepare and present detailed project status reports to senior management and other stakeholders.- Lead and facilitate stage gate reviews for design (30%, 60%, 90%).- Lead and facilitate delivery of IFC drawings.- Lead the construction design support effort, including responding to RFIs and performing change management.- Coordinate with commissioning teams.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.- Minimum of 10 years of experience in engineering and project management, with at least 5years in a leadership role.- Experience with renewable natural gas, gas processing or natural gas industry.- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, regulatory standards, and project managementmethodologies (agilewaterfall).- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.- Ability to manage multiple competing needs simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.- Proficiency in project management software and tools. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Masters degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.- Professional Engineering (PE) license.- PMP certification, or similar project management credentials.- CSM certification, or similar scrum-project management credentials.- PE (Professional Engineer) license COMPENSATION:- Salary Range: $127,500 - $168,000- Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision, retirement plans,reimbursement accounts, PTO (Paid time Off) and discount plans.
