Trading Assistant - Credit

A financial services firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their growing team as a Trading Assistant handling credit in their New York City office.Responsibilities:Working with trading teams to process trade execution across the trade lifecycle Working in a team environment that closely integrates trading, technology and operational excellenceWorking with the trading desk to manage risk breaks, assist with executions and middle office functions Automating operational workflows and partnering with developers and technology teams to architect, build, and deliver robust platforms to reduce manual overhead and riskDeveloping robust processes to aid in the deployment of new trading capabilities Coordinating with developers to help with releases and testing for new software Liaising with operations, accounting and business management departments to develop and answer ad hoc requests Perform other duties, as neededQualifications:Bachelors degree from a top tier university in economics, business administration, computer science, engineering, finance, mathematics, physics or a related field Foundational knowledge of OTC marketsExperience interfacing with trading and technology systems Process driven approach to problem solving Strong communication skills and the ability to liaise across multiple groups A highly analytic mentality and a rigorous attention to dealsReference # 502500
