(Temporary) Litigation Legal Assistant - Harrisburg, PA LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for a full time 13-week assignment. The ideal candidate will have at 1-2 years of recent litigation experience to work on matters. The ideal Candidate will primarily support firm partners and attorneys and be able to assist with (drafting, editing, and formatting) legal documents (Table of ContentTable of Authorities), deposition and trial preparations, administrative duties as assigned, including but not limited to calendar management, scheduling, travel arrangements, billing attorneys' time, meeting arrangements, preparing expense reports, and maintaining mail. The ideal candidate will be proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, knowledgeable in e-filing documents in both state and federal courts and utilizing legal search engines and case management systems. Responsibilities· Review and draft routine legal correspondence and legal documents (drafting, editing, and formatting) legal documents (Table of ContentTable of Authorities)· 1-2 years of prior experience in a similar role handling Litigation matters · Provide quality legal assistance by calendaring and scheduling as required · Maintain legal documents and be knowledgeable in the litigation process · Assist with complex, high volume legal matters · Maintain confidentiality and follow filing rules and guidelines required by various court systems and standard state rules and regulations · File documents via e-filing system in various courts · Administrative functions and duties such as required (including but not limited to deposition and trial preparations, calendar management, scheduling, travel arrangements, meeting arrangements, preparing expense reports, and maintaining mail)Qualifications· 1-2 years of recent litigation experience or similar complex litigation experience · Associate's degree is required or equivalent experience· Strong organizational and communication skills· Proficiency and knowledge of standard MS Office Suite (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint) · Adobe, and legal search engines and case management systems (NetDocuments is a plus)BenefitsBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
