This is a 2nd shift position with hours of 12:30pm - 9pm. Additional 10% shift differential offered for all 2nd shift hours worked.Job SummaryPerforms the formulation and dispensing of pharmaceutical products according to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) and utilizing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in a clean room environment.Area Of ResponsibilityFormulate and dispense product in a clean room environment for Radio-pharm as well as dermatological productsWash and sterilize all equipment, tubing, filters, stoppers, vessels, vials, ampoules etc.Perform all automatic and manual manufacturing processes as neededPerform all required cleaning of manufacturing facility and equipment as neededFollow all company policies relating to job safetyPerform preparation and set-up of glassware and lab equipment to ensure proper conditions for production processDocument data and review completed batch records to ensure product is made in accordance with specificationsAssist in review of SOPs and batch records, as neededPerform equipment monitoring, under direction, as neededComplete all necessary paperwork to conform with FDA regulationsOther duties as assignedWork Conditions:OfficeLabControlled areasExposure to syringes and needlesPhysical Requirements:Stand, walk, sit, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach or push with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl,TalkhearClose vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, ability to focusAbility to visually inspect small products and printOperate lab equipmentOperate computersoffice machinesMust wear lab coat and other safety attireLift up to 50 lbs.Travel EstimateUp to 0%Education and Job Qualification High School Diploma or GED requiredWork under direct supervision and follow clearly described proceduresEducation in Life sciences or technical discipline experience preferredGood organizational and record keeping skillsBasic computer skillsAttention to detailStrong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsAbility to visually inspection small productsprintExperienceMinimum of 2 - 5 years related experience preferredFamiliarity with, and the ability to follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Master Batch Records, and adhere consistently to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) preferredBasic math, computer, and record keeping skills requiredcGMP training a plusFamiliarity with aseptic fillfinish, formulation techniques preferredExperience working in a controlled environment preferredRelated experience in pharmaceutical environment preferredActual base compensation may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to geographical location and experience.
