ETL Developer - PDI (Pentaho Data Integration)

BCI has the following 1 year assignment open with our direct client in Jersey City, NJ. The ETL developer will have at least 6 years of hands-on professional exp. PDI (Pentaho Data Integration) is a MUST. This role is open for W2 or 1099. No Corp to Corp or subcontractors. Hybridremote with 1 day a week on site is preferred. If you are 100% remote, you must have a very strong background to be considered.You will be responsible for the development, design and implementation of new or modified software products or ongoing business projects.Primary Responsibilities:• Working closely with other developers, designers, business and systems analysts• Develop applications.• Provide guidance on industry best practices, guidelines and governance for web applications and web sites.• Work closely with Quality Assurance to ensure end product is delivered with quality outcomes.• Perform benefit analysis for IT solutions and make recommendations for technology direction.• Researching, designing, implementing and managing software programs• Testing and evaluating new programs• Identifying areas for modification in existing programs and subsequently developing these modifications• Writing and implementing efficient code• Determining operational practicality• Developing quality assurance procedures• Deploying software tools, processes and metrics• Maintaining and upgrading existing systemsQualifications:• Technical Degree or related discipline• ETL PDI (Pentaho Data Integration) developer with minimum of 6 years experience. A MUST!• Experience in designing and building applications in various languages.• In-depth knowledge of programming for diverse operating systems and platforms using development tools
