Our firm has been engaged by ARK Consulting Group, PLLC to conduct a search for a Project Manager.Ark Consulting Group is a full-service civil engineering and land surveying firm based in vibrant and rapidly growing Greenville, North Carolina. The Project Manager will work closely with a talented team of Project Engineers, Design Engineers, CAD Technicians, and Land Surveyors on exciting projects across North Carolina. This person will play a key role in overseeing the development of construction documents for diverse projects in the commercial, retail, residential, and industrial sectors for both private and municipal clients.Responsibilities include:Project Planning and Management:Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for civil engineering projects.Develop project scopes, objectives, and deliverables based on client requirements and regulatory standards.Prepare project proposals, including timelines, cost estimates, and risk assessments.Team Coordination and Leadership:Lead project meetings, establish communication protocols, and facilitate effective collaboration among team members.Monitor project performance, addressing any deviations from plans and taking corrective actions as needed.Coordinate with land surveyors and sub-consultants.Client and Stakeholder Engagement:Act as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and regulatory agencies.Provide regular updates to clients on project status, changes, and potential issues.Ensure project deliverables meet or exceed client expectations and regulatory requirements.Quality Assurance and Compliance:Oversee quality control procedures to ensure adherence to engineering standards and survey accuracy.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to civil engineering and land development projects.Review and approve design plans, reports, and other project documentation.Financial Management:Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective project execution.Manage change orders and negotiate contract terms as needed.Prepare financial reports, invoicing, and progress billing documentation.Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina.At least 10 years of experience in civil engineering design and project management, with a focus on site development, transportation, or water resources.Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D).Strong understanding of land development, site design, grading, and drainage.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under deadlines.
