OpportunityThe attorney(s) that fill this position will be responsible for working directly with employer clients to provide advice and counsel on high-stakes wage and hour matters, drafting pleadings, drafting and arguing motions, drafting discovery and review and analysis of discovery responses, meaningfully participating in and contributing to overall strategy from case inception to completion, taking depositions, performing exposure analysis, attending mediations and engaging in settlement negotiations. There will also be opportunities to speak and publish on class action and PAGA issues. Qualifications2-7 years of experience in wage and hour class action defense in California.Successful candidates will be highly motivated, possess excellent writing, analytical, and people skills, value a team environment, and will be prepared to work independently and assume significant responsibilities.Bilingual abilities are a plus. EducationJuris Doctor. Qualified candidates must be and remain licensed to practice law and be in good standing in the state of California.Must have a California bar license.During employment, must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice.
