Position: Windows Systems AdministratorOnsite in Reno, NV, five days a week (Tuesday through Thursday initially, with potential for full-time onsite). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in virtualization, Windows systems, and automation scripting, with a focus on mentoring junior team members and contributing to project-focused tasks. Key Responsibilities:Mentor and support a junior Level 1 Systems Analyst in Reno, providing guidance and knowledge transfer.Perform day-to-day operations, including compliance and security tasks, equipment racking, and cable work.Develop and maintain virtualization environments using VMware.Write and execute automation scripts using Python and PowerShell.Ensure security best practices are followed in all projects and operations.Manage and configure Cisco UCS and Dell servers.Potential travel to other project sites as needed.Required Skills:Strong experience with VMware virtualization.Proficiency in Windows systems administration.Automation scripting skills, particularly in Python with PowerShell being a plus.Knowledge of security practices and compliance requirements.Experience with Cisco UCS and Dell server platforms.Ability to write and develop scripts from scratch.Excellent team player with a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.Preferred Skills:SCADA or controls experience is a plus but not mandatory.Familiarity with configuration management tools.
