Management Consulting firm that provides finance and accounting services for not for profit organizations seeks a Director of Onboarding.This is a mostly remote role, in office 3-4 days per MONTH in downtown ManhattanResponsibilities include:Onboarding Facilitation:Lead the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring all necessary steps are taken for a seamless transition into financial and operational systems.Understand client-specific needs by conducting discovery sessions with the client to tailor onboarding plans according to their processes, challenges, and goals.Align processes to enable client workflows, approaching onboarding as a merger of systems while ensuring processes take precedence where applicable, adapting to meet the client's needs while ensuring adherence to standards.Ensure successful migration of client data into financial systems, overseeing the accuracy and completeness of the transition process.Project Management and Client Relations:Develop comprehensive onboarding project plans, outlining key milestones, timelines, and deliverables.Manage multiple onboarding projects simultaneously, ensuring each project stays on schedule and meets defined municate frequently with clients, providing regular updates on progress, addressing concerns, and offering solutions to any obstacles that arise during the onboarding phase.Serve as the primary point of contact during the onboarding process, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and responsive service.Collaborate with client executives and stakeholders to secure buy-in on process changes and guide them through system adoption.Collaboration with Functional Teams:Work closely with the AP, Contracts, and GLAccounting functional owners to ensure that each department is aligned with the client's specific needs during onboarding.Facilitate cross-departmental communication, ensuring that all internal teams understand the client's operational requirements and align their workflows accordingly.Provide leadership and guidance to the internal onboarding team, ensuring they adhere to the client's onboarding schedule and deliver services within agreed timelines.Reporting and Analysis:Generate onboarding reports for internal stakeholders and clients, outlining progress, any challenges, and solutions.Analyze onboarding data to identify patterns, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement, implementing changes to optimize future onboarding experiences.Qualified candidates should have strong client relationship management experience, working with non profits in a public accounting or management consulting setting.Salary 145-175k base plus bonus and benefits DOE
