Job Title: IT Sales and Business Development Manager - IT Services Job Location: Columbia MD, (OnsiteRemote)Job Type: Full-timeJob Overview:We are a WBENC and WOSB certified business seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales and Business Development Manager to help expand our presence within the IT services sector. The ideal candidate will have experience in selling IT services, developing new client relationships, and a strong understanding of the needs of IT companies. This role will focus on identifying and developing new business opportunities, building relationships with key decision-makers in IT organizations, and driving sales growth for our certified business.Key Responsibilities:Business Development: Proactively identify and engage with potential clients within the IT sector to generate new business opportunities for IT services. Develop and execute targeted sales strategies to grow our client base.Sales Execution: Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. Drive revenue growth by meeting or exceeding sales targets within the IT services market.Client Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including CIOs, IT Directors, and procurement teams within target organizations. Present the company's IT services offerings in a way that aligns with client needs.WBENCWOSB Opportunity Identification: At the federal, state and commercial levels, building relationships with IT companies committed to supplier diversity and inclusion initiatives.Market Research and Targeting: Conduct thorough research on the IT industry to identify trends, competitive landscapes, and potential clients. Understand the pain points and challenges that IT companies face and position our services as solutions.Proposal and RFP Development: Prepare and deliver customized proposals, presentations, and responses to RFPs that highlight the value of our IT services. Ensure a tailored approach to each prospective working and Partnerships: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities related to the IT and technology services sector. Build strategic partnerships and alliances that can drive business development.Collaboration with Internal Teams: Work closely with technical teams, project managers, and leadership to ensure alignment between client needs and service delivery. Provide feedback to improve offerings and ensure customer satisfaction.Pipeline Management and Reporting: Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, track opportunities, and ensure timely follow-up.
