Exactuals/Residuals Analyst

Responsibilities and duties:Conduct comprehensive testing of the Exactuals system to ensure accuracy, reliability of payments and compliance with industry regulations.Verify the system's ability to accurately calculate and distribute payments, preventing errors.Test the system's user interface and functionality to ensure it is user-friendly, intuitive, and easy to navigate for staff.Test the system's performance and stability, to ensure it can handle the expected workload and meet business needs.Identify and document system defects, errors, or inconsistencies, and work with developers to resolve them.Collaborate with the residuals team to understand their requirements and ensure the system meets their needs.Report findings to relevant stakeholders.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field preferred.Experience with accounting principles and practices, particularly in the entertainment industry.Understanding of residuals calculations and distribution processes.Experience with testing software applications, preferably in a financial or accounting context.Knowledge of Exactuals or similar financial entertainment systems is a plus.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Strong communication and documentation skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience with test automation tools is a preferred
