Process Engineer

Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join the team as a Process this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures for all extrusion lines, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and leading key World Class Operations initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, ISO, 5S, and Six Sigma.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree required preferably in Engineering or Chemistry; or seven years of manufacturing experience with three of those years being in extrusion.Minimum of 1 year manufacturing experience preferably in extrusion.Must have an understanding of chemical properties within the plastic industry.Must understand the basic fundamentals of plastic product machinery and the process behind the mechanics.Ability to write technical reports and routine correspondence.ResponsibilitiesRecommend, develop, and implement systems to improve reliability, reduce costs, and maintain world-class operational controls.Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures for all extrusion lines, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.Ensure quality and service standards are met and exceeded through standards, statistical methods, effective communication, follow-up, and training.Promote teamwork and synergy across departments.Collaborates with managers and team members to achieve plant and company goals.If this sound like the opportunity you've been waiting for, apply today!
