Director, Paid SearchTalento has partnered with an organization with an expanding portfolio of brands based in Charlotte, NC on a search for a Director of Paid Search. We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Director of Paid Search to lead and optimize their paid search channels. This role will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive paid search strategy that aligns with the company's overall business goals while ensuring superior performance against 3rd party affiliates across all business units. ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement a paid search strategy that drives measurable business results, ensuring it aligns with the broader company objectives and outperforms 3rd party affiliates across all business units.Own and manage the paid search channel, ensuring sustained profitability and performance. Continuously optimize to maintain or reduce marketing costs while increasing the contribution to company sales.Identify and apply automation solutions to streamline repetitive tasks and scale ad creation processes, leveraging internal and external tools to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.Lead testing and learning initiatives, utilizing AB testing, multivariate testing (MVT), and growth hacking techniques to tackle challenges in new, innovative ways.Take full ownership of the paid search channel's budget, strategy, and overall business direction, ensuring that financial targets are met and exceeded.Effectively communicate complex strategies and performance metrics to key stakeholders in a clear and simple manner, enabling data-driven decision-making across business units.Stay ahead of trends in ad platforms such as Google Ads and Bing Ads, continually learning and applying new tactics to improve paid search performance.Use web analytics and data visualization platforms to create actionable reports that drive insights for the paid search team and inform broader business strategy.Build a robust CRO system tailored for the paid search channel, continuously improving lead quality and conversion flow.Develop customer cluster models that help optimize targeting by focusing on positive customer clusters and reducing investment in negative ones.Apply growth hacking principles to test and implement system improvements that extend beyond paid search to drive growth in other digital channels.
