Don't miss this opportunity to be part of one of Chicago's best companies to work for"”apply today and take the next step in your PayrollHR career!RESPONSIBILITIES: Process accurate and timely semi-monthly payroll, ensuring compliance with pay policies (e.g., PTO, LOA, workers' compensation, deductions).Manage all wage garnishments, ensure federal and state payroll compliance, and stay updated on changes in payroll laws.Collaborate with Accounting to ensure tax and earnings codes are accurately set up and year-end processes are completed correctly.Oversee payroll data processing workflow, maintain accurate HRIS records, and assist in auditing payroll, tax filings, and compliance.Lead payroll-related HR tasks, including employee record changes, offboarding, unemployment responses, benefits administration, and verification requests.Support benefits and HR reporting processes, including COBRA administration, reconciliation, monthly reporting, and expense management for the People team.QUALIFICATIONS: 3+ years of ADP Workforce Now and 3-5 years in HRPayroll, including multi-state payroll.Must have experience doing payroll for contract workersDetail-oriented, organized, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.Skilled in analytics, journal entries, reconciliations, and proficient in Excel.Knowledge of wage laws, payroll taxes, benefits, and 401(k) preferred.Strong communicator, able to multitask and eager to support cross-training in PENSATION: $75,000-80,000 depending on experience with comprehensive and affordable benefits.
