Major, Lindsey & Africa's Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for a Temp to Perm Conflicts Attorney.Overview: Major, Lindsey & Africa is seeking a Conflicts Attorney with 3-5+ years of experience in Conflicts for approximately three to six plus pany: A Global Law Firm is looking to add to their office of General CounselExperience: Looking for Candidates with strong ethics and conflicts experience to oversee analysts and work together to help the firm with Conflicts matters.Location: Wilmington Hybrid (2 days per week in office).Responsibilities:Facilitate the firm's new business intake process, ensuring a thorough and efficient evaluation of potential clients and matters.Conduct detailed conflicts of interest analyses for new business engagements utilizing both internal and external databases.Draft and implement conflicts waivers and ethical walls as necessary to resolve potential conflicts of interest.Advise attorneys and staff on ethical obligations and compliance with Rules of Professional Conduct, fostering an environment of ethical awareness and compliance.Provide guidance and training to attorneys and staff on the firm's conflicts and business intake policies and procedures.Participate in the after-hours, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation for emergency conflicts checks and inquiries.Demonstrates effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective work relationships with others.Manages Firm resources plies with and understands Firm operation, policies, and procedures.Performs other related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and admission to the BarA minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in conflicts management, ethical compliance, or a related field within a large law firm environmentDemonstrated knowledge of the rules of professional responsibility and a strong ethical judgment.Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills, with a detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.Proven ability to manage complex information and make informed decisions swiftly.Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.Proficiency in PC and Windows applications, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.Knowledge of relevant firm computer software programs (e.g. Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), with the ability to learn new software and operating systemsDemonstrates effective interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and in writingDemonstrates close attention to detailExcellent analytical, troubleshooting, organizational, and planning skills [Exempt Non-management]Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting prioritiesAbility to handle sensitive matters and maintain confidentialityAbility to organize and prioritize workAbility to work well in a demanding and fast-paced environmentAbility to work well independently as well as effectively within a teamAbility to use discretion and exercise independent and sound judgment [Exempt Non-management]Flexibility to travel [If applicable]Flexibility to adjust hours and work the hours necessary to meet operating and business needsInformation regarding benefits can be found on MLA's Website on the Consultant Resources Page: interested and qualified candidates should apply directly with Major, Lindsey & Africa for review and consideration.Major, Lindsey & Africa does not discriminate against applications on the basis of age, sex, race or any other protected characteristics pursuant to applicable state or federal laws.JOB ID: 205866
