The company is looking to appoint a Warehouse Director. The role will oversee all warehouse operations, focusing on inventory management, distribution, and logistics to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Management: Direct daily operations; manage and develop staff; implement performance metricsOperational Efficiency: Analyze workflows; develop standard operating procedures (SOPs); collaborate with other departments to improve processesInventory Management: Oversee inventory control; ensure accuracy and minimize shrinkage; work with procurement on stock levelsCompliance & Safety: Ensure adherence to safety regulations; lead safety training; conduct regular compliance auditsLogistics & Distribution: Manage relationships with logistics providers; implement strategies for timely, cost-effective deliveriesBudgeting & Reporting: Develop and manage the warehouse budget; provide regular operational reports and identify improvement opportunitiesQualificationsBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field8+ years of warehouse operations experience, with 5+ years in a leadership roleProven success in process optimization and inventory managementStrong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skillsKnowledge of WMS, ERP systems, and safety regulations (OSHA)
