SUMMARYThe Supply Chain Manager oversees all aspects of the organization's supply chain management, including procurement, vendor relations, production, logistics, shipping and third party warehousing. RESPONSIBILITIESDemonstrated leadership, oversight and management of a complex global supply chain as it relates to company's product lineExperience developing and implementing a supply chain for rapid scale growth with high value, high volume raw materials and cosmetics ingredients in a regulated environmentDemonstrated diligence in managing supply chain commitments consistent with financial implications and reasonable business dynamicsInventory management, ensuring zero stock-outs while optimizing the levels and controls on obsolete or expiring inventoryDemonstrated strategic negotiating skills securing product quality, competitive costing and business flexibility across the supply chainOversight of all Supply Chain and Customer Service processes across both Manufacturing and Corporate facilities, optimizing processes for seamless execution and deliveryExperienced in managing logistics for worldwide markets, including international sourcing, transportation and customs and specifically related to fine chemicals and raw materials Brings effectiveness by integrating various IT tools to generate performance matrices including ERP, CRM and other software application optimization and effective utilizationBuilding process and organization talent, elevate competencies of team members; play a key role in building second line of team, mentoring them and monitoring the performance of second line members to create a sustainable growing organizationDevelops and implements purchasing strategies, evaluates whether the supply base sufficiently meets business requirements, sources alternate suppliers and implements.Develops standard costing parameters allowing the company to develop consistent and reliable pricing and margin models while supporting innovation and cost competitivenessResponsible for COGS and product margin maintenanceimprovement based upon annual business plan goalsExperience and commitment to product quality, exceeding quality and delivery expectations, resulting in On Time in Full (OTIF) order fulfillment QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's degree in a relevant field10-15 years' experience in logistics, customer service, inventory management andor procurement. Global exposure a must.Established connections within the transportation, shippingC&FA and warehousing industry is highly desired.
