Maintenance Technician

JOB OVERVIEWOur client is seeking for Maintenance Technician responsible for performing a variety of routine and emergency maintenance to all the company equipment as directed by the Maintenance Manager. 3 openings - all shifts!QUALIFICATIONSHigh school diploma, or equivalent requiredMinimum of 2-4 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.Strong Knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical Systems, as well as industrial equipment and machinery.Be able to understand PLC ladder logicAbility to work with Voltage from ( 5V DC to 480V AC )Ability to assemble and align gears, bearings, and shaftsAbility to inspect equipment for defectsAbility to install and maintain various pipe systemsExcellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issuesAbility to read and interpret technical diagrams and manualsStrong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environmentPossess basic computer skills to complete work orders and other computer work as directedExperience with Preventive maintenance programs ( CMMS )High attention to detail and strong commitment to qualityUnderstanding of safety and environmental regulationsAbility to lift and work in physically demanding conditionsAbility to operate a forklift if neededFollow and adhere to Lock-out Tag-out procedures at all timesCleans shop and parts area at the end of every shift
