Quality Assurance Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a high performing Quality Assurance professional for a contract role with our client's Information Services group. You will be part of a collaborative and experienced Project Delivery team, responsible for validating business critical software solutions that enable our market leading company. You will apply strong technical skills in a hands-on approach to testing solutions and will become a key part of advancing our test planning, tracking, and execution methods.PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:Maintain consistent testing standardsConduct testing for custom and vendor softwareResponsible for generating test plans, test scripts and documenting test resultsWork closely with application developers and business analysts in performing comprehensive software testing, including quality assurance testing of databases, integrations, functionality, reports, and documentationOrganize, lead, and facilitate defect triages, test case reviews and various other meetings to ensure sufficient test coverage for each systemPerform technical and process analysis in support of the Functional LeadProvide technical support to IS and other departments, as requiredCreate various types of reference documentation such as user, technical, and operations guidesDemonstrate understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and general project methodologiesDemonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills required in interviewing and conveying information between users and technical staffAssist the business in the planning and execution of User Acceptance TestingProvide detailed status of the overall quality effort to the Project Manager MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:At least 4 years of experience in software QA or related testing rolesExcellent oral, written, and organizational skillsAttention to detailStrong analytical skills regarding identifying potential points of application failuresExtensive experience with SaaS and on-premise software applicationsKnowledge of Microsoft suite of tools, including Azure DevOps, preferredGood understanding of Company business and industryAbility to work with all groups of Company employees and consultantsCompensation: $35hour to $43hour. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave andor other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
