It is our promise that we will deliver this experience everyday by making sure that we are unified in our values of Attitude, Creativity, Safety, and Professionalism.Key ResponsibilitiesEmbody our brand and service values in both internal and guest interactionsAct as a host by greeting and orienting guests as they enter assigned areasEnsure the safety of guests while in assigned areasDisplay Guest Experience training standards daily and consistently to enthusiastically create an unforgettable experience through personalized serviceProvide a high level of guest service by engaging guests, answering questions, resolving issues, making thoughtful recommendations, and identifying opportunities to personalize each experienceBe knowledgeable of the SUMMIT One Vanderbilt brand and the products designed to delight our guestsMonitor activity in assigned areas and manage the ticket-scanning processAssist in wayfinding, guest flow, and line managementContribute to the continual improvement of our guest experience programs through feedback to management and participation in regular team development initiativesPerform other duties as necessary or required by management Skills and QualificationsEducation and ExperienceThe ideal candidate will have 1 year of prior experience in customer-focused roles in the entertainment, live event, theme park, and hospitality sectors. Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMust possess excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skillsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and perform well under pressureMust possess a cheerful, professional attitude and a passion for guest serviceMust have the capability to positively engage a diverse group of guests in a high-volume environment Must be able to work independently and exhibit initiative to solve problems, including tracking situations until an appropriate resolution is achievedAbility to self-manage and self-motivateAbility to follow direction and to be a team playerMust be comfortable with heightsMust be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions and temperature extremesMust be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum availability of three (3) six-hour shifts per weekMust be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the timeThis position requires frequent communication with both guests and colleagues; must be able to exchange accurate and timely information in these situationsProficiency in foreign languages a plus
