We're seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team and drive quality assurance across processes and products. In this role, you will develop, implement, and evaluate testing protocols to ensure technical standards are met, serving as the key connection between engineering, safety, production, and customer teams. A successful Quality Engineer ensures that processes are executed precisely, utilizing the right tools, materials, and methodologies.Key ResponsibilitiesInspection & Validation: Develop and implement inspection plans for new projects and refine existing ones.Process Improvement: Support manufacturing engineering in process validation, control, risk management, and continuous improvement initiatives.Testing & Development: Spearhead the development of new testing equipment and methods, including Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (GR&R).Collaborative Quality Control: Work closely with Process Engineers on PFMEA and with Quality, Material, and R&D teams on control plan development.Continuous Improvement Leadership: Identify quality-related issues, lead resolution efforts, and document effectiveness.Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to improve quality and resolve issues with corrective actions.Reporting & Compliance: Generate reports to assess quality system effectiveness and ensure compliance with internal and industry standards.Core CompetenciesStrong work ethic and adherence to quality standardsAbility to work independently and collaboratively with minimal supervisionDetail-oriented with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in root cause analysisTechnical troubleshooting proficiencyFamiliarity with ISO 9001-2015 and IATF 16949-2016 requirementsProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and statistical software like MinitabWork Environment & Physical DemandsThis position is based in a clean, controlled environment with routine use of laboratory equipment (e.g., viscometers, lab ovens, hardness gauges). Regular physical activity, such as standing and lifting up to 50 lbs, is required.Position DetailsSchedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, with a typical start time between 6 am and 8 am.Travel: Occasional travel may be required to address customer quality needs.QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or a related field2-5 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environmentStrong foundation in Quality Management principles, including GR&R, MSA, KPI, Continuous Improvement, and 5S
