The General Manager has the overall responsibility for directing the daily operations of a restaurant, ensuring compliance with company standards in all areas of operation, including product preparation and delivery, customer relations, restaurant maintenance and repair, inventory management, team management, financial accountability, ensuring that the highest quality products and services are delivered to each customer and other duties as required or assigned.Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of the operation within the restaurantProvide consistent execution and exemplary service to our guests Create and update business strategies for the operation to drive salesManage labor deployment within parameters of budgetDirect Front of House team to ensure all opening, mid, and closing procedures are followedMaintain cleanliness and organization of the restaurantRecruit, interview, hire, and retain a successful teamTrain, coach, and mentor all team membersEnsure completion of food safety checklistsMaintain and manage food cost, troubleshooting any issues that may ariseManage P&L, forecasting, COGs, and inventory controlBenefits:Enrollment in Company-contributed health coverage plan, including dental and vision PTO starting at 15 days401k with up to 4% match after ninety (90) days of employmentLife insurance coverage fully paid by the CompanyPre-tax commuter benefits Pet insuranceTeam member discounts at all our brandsQualifications: Minimum 2 years of General Manager experience in a restaurant with comparable steps of service and volume Toast POS, Clover, or similar POS experiencePrevious experience with P&L, forecasting, inventory, and COGs strongly preferred Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities requiredCertifications: A NYC Food Handlers License is required to be considered for this position.Convive Brands is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
