With locations in Central New Jersey and Southern California, AWI works strategically with retailers, startups, and established businesses to provide E-Commerce, Amazon FBA, big-box retailer distribution, and wholesale fulfillment, distribution, and transportation services with the backing of modern technology and our unique, boutique-like service level.Job DescriptionThe Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring high productivity and stringent quality control. This role involves supervising staff, monitoring workflows, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, and meeting client-specific KPIs related to productivity, order accuracy, and service quality.Key Responsibilities:Team Managemento Supervise, train, and assign tasks to warehouse personnel, ensuring the efficient use of labor resources.o Provide regular feedback to staff to ensure productivity targets are met and quality standards are upheld.Operational Oversighto Oversee daily order picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and storage processes to meet operational efficiency and accuracy ventory & Quality Assurance Supervisiono Supervise inventory control processes, including cycle counting and stock reconciliation, to maintain inventory accuracy.o Ensure the proper handling, storage, and shipment of goods to avoid damage and meet client specifications.Productivity Supervisiono Monitor staff performance to ensure productivity goals are met, such as orders picked and packed per hour.o Use data from Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to track performance and report on individual and team productivity levels.Quality Assurance Supervisiono Supervise adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure quality standards are consistently met.Client Service & Communicationo Act as a point of contact for internal departments regarding client-specific requirements, ensuring clear communication of instructions to the warehouse team.Reporting & Analysiso Provide daily and weekly performance reports on productivity, order accuracy, and quality assurance to the Warehouse Manager.o Participate in team meetings to provide feedback on operational performance and suggest improvements.o Assist the Warehouse Manager in reviewing performance against KPIs and implementing corrective actions when needed.QualificationsProven experience in a warehouse supervisory role, preferably within a 3PL or logistics environment.Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and basic IT skills for tracking inventory and performance metrics.Excellent organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills.English fluency requiredSpanish fluency preferredWork ConditionsSalary: Starting at $54,000 (negotiable based on experience)Full time On-Site EmploymentLocation: Secaucus, NJHours: M-F, 8AM to 5PMCompany BenefitsHealth, Dental, Vision Insurance - 100% coverage for you and familyPaid Time Off401(K) with Company MatchFree Daily Lunch CateringAnnual performance-based incentives and bonusFitness Center Membership Subsidy Program
