Our esteemed and national level client with significant multimodal projects across the Bay Area is seeking a Senior Transportation Engineer to come into their Oakland office on a hybrid schedule (up to three days work from home). This permanent position offers the opportunity to play a pivotal role within dynamic engineering teams dedicated to advancing infrastructure that millions rely upon every day.Responsibilities:-Work on a wide spectrum of design projects including multimodal corridor and intersection studies, traffic and crash analysis, and design guidance and standards-Share your knowledge with staff and clients to develop feasibility studies, Vision Zero and safety plans, streetscape plans, conceptual designs, cost estimates, and construction documents including signing and striping plans and traffic signal plans- Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results- Engage stakeholders through effective communication and some business development strategiesIdeal Qualifications:- 7+ years of transportation engineering experience at a municipality or private consulting firm- Technically strong in transportationtraffic design to support multimodal and active transportation projects- Connectionscontacts in the bay area to be utilized for some business development initiatives- Proficient in AutoCAD, MicroStation, ArcGIS, and SynchroTarget Salary Range: $135,000 - $165,000If this sounds like your next career move, apply today!Desired Skills and ExperienceTraffic EngineeringTransportation engineeringTransportationAutoCADMicroStationProject Management
