The Investment Banking Group of Cantor Fitzgerald offers Associates the exceptional opportunity to work on small client teams with direct exposure to clients and senior bankers. Associates play an essential role in developing and managing our client relationships. The associates are an integral part of our client teams, taking an active role in developing, structuring and executing a broad range of advisory assignments and financial transactions for our clients.Coordination of various processes, including capital raises and advisory transactionsPreparation of offering memoranda, proposals and other written materials for meetings with clientsPerform research and various analyses in support of new business generationOrganize and participate in marketing and client meetingsLeading and participating in drafting sessions for underwriting assignmentsConducting industry and company-specific due diligence related to transactionsInteract with corporate clients, private equity firms, venture capital firms and senior bankersQualifications:3 years minimum of experience as an investment banking analystBachelor's degreeMBA or equivalent graduate degree in a financial disciplineCurrent or recent experience in an investment banking role or equivalent positionCurrent or recent healthcare industry experiencePreferred Qualifications:Outstanding academic recordExceptional communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong analytical orientation, with experience performing financial and valuation analysis in Excel or comparable spreadsheet toolsDemonstrable commitment to and experience with working in teamsDemonstrated interest in finance and financial marketsDemonstrated interest in healthcare medical field through professional andor academic experienceSeries 63 and 79 certified Salary: $ 175,000 - $225,000The expected base salary for this position ranges from $175,000 to $225,000. The actual base salary will be determined on an individualized basis taking into account a wide range of factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills, experience, education, and, where applicable, licenses or certifications held. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation including discretionary bonuses and other short- and long-term incentives (e.g., deferred cash, equity, etc.).
