Staff Accountant

As an Accounting Analyst, you will be a member of our detail-oriented team in an ever-evolving environment. This is not your typical entry level accounting role. Your main responsibilities will focus on helping the team with day-to-day activities including month-end close but also with bigger picture strategic items such as operational analysis. Confidentiality and professionalism are essential for this position.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:· Full ownership of month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting close processes for four entities· Preparation of core financial statements· Participate in preparation and analysis of budget and reforecasts· Monitor and manage cash flowPreparation of documentation for accurate and timely tax filings and coordination with external tax accountant· Assisting with other operational responsibilities which may include assistance with Human Resources, Compliance or Property Management - 25%· Provide excellent client service while assisting our Client Experience department as needed including interacting with our clients and helping to create an amazing front stage experience - 10%This is a hybrid position, with the current requirement to be in our Glastonbury, CT office on Tuesdays. This position also requires up to 2 evenings per week, including Tuesdays and sometimes Wednesdays. This creates flexibility in your schedule for the remainder of the week to ensure a total of 40 hours for a healthy worklife balance.
