We are currently seeking a litigation associate attorney for a personal injury law firm in the Myrtle Beach and Conway area. This proven South Carolina litigation firm has multiple offices and is passionate about helping their clients. The focus for this associate includes personal injury cases, trucking, and car accidents, and worker's compensation cases.Example Job Responsibilities:Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions, and memorandumGuide clients through the case processInteraction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports, and affidavitsAttendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearancesHandling all aspects of workers' compensation cases from the initial client intake meeting through resolutionTravel in SC for court appearances may be requiredMinimum and Additional Qualifications:A JD from an accredited law school and a member of the SC Bar in good standing1-3 years experience practicing as an attorney with knowledge of and experience in litigation and civil procedureStrong legal writing skills including experience in drafting briefs and other legal documentsAbility to express arguments and conclusions clearly and logicallyStrong research, organizational and analytical skillsDetail-oriented, hardworking, and results-driven team playerExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience gathering evidence to be used in trial & interviewing key witnessesAll resumes are held in strict confidence.Salary will depend on experience.
