Location: Charlotte, NCSalary: Starting at $105,000 (based on experience)Benefits: Company truck, gas card, company card for out-of-town staysPosition Overview:We are seeking an experienced Civil Superintendent to oversee excavation, grading, and underground utilities projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil construction and a proven track record of successfully managing projects from start to finish. This role requires exceptional leadership, organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and coordinate daily operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.Manage excavation, grading, and underground utilities activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to plan and execute project schedules and resource allocation.Conduct site inspections and oversee the work of crews to ensure adherence to project specifications and safety protocols.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the construction process, making decisions to keep projects on track.Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders, and safety records.Train and mentor field staff to ensure a high level of performance and adherence to company policies.Qualifications:5+ years of experience in civil construction, specifically in excavation, grading, and underground utilities.Proven experience in a supervisory role, with strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team -depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety regulations.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project needs.Additional Information:A valid driver's license is required.Willingness to travel for out-of-town projects as necessary.If you are a motivated and experienced professional looking to take the next step in your career, we encourage you to apply.
