Remote-Electrical Field Service

Global equipment company is seeking an experienced remote Electrical Field Service Technician based in the Mid-Atlantic. This is a travel position for installation, maintenance, and repair of printing press, finishing and accessory equipment. You will travel throughout the United States. Individuals with HVAC, Avionics, Military, Millwright, or Industrial Equipment maintenance experience are encouraged to apply. Competitive compensation, and benefits including medical coverage from the first day of employment, paid training, paid vacation, sick time and 14 holidays, retirement plan with company match, company car, cell phone, and laptop.ResponsibilitiesInstallation, retrofits, training of maintenance personnel, service, and repair of printing presses and bindery equipmentTroubleshooting electricalelectronic problemsWork directly with customers on-site at their printing facilitiesIdentify new business opportunities and work closely with the sales teamQualificationsAssociates technical degree andor electrical certifications preferredAt least 3 years' electrical circuitry maintenance experienceKnowledge of wiring diagrams and schematics, PLCs (programmable logic controllers), AC drives, pneumatics, variable frequency drivesVFD's, and multimetersAbility to travel domestically and internationally mostly Monday-Friday (have a valid driver's license and current passport or the ability to obtain one)Strong problem solving, testing, repairing, problem-solving, and troubleshooting electricalelectronic industrial equipmentExperience training maintenance teamsAbility to work flexible hours and travel 75-100% throughout North AmericaMust be currently living in the Mid-Atlantic within 1.5 hours of Richmond Virginia which includes Henrico county and Chesterfield countryAbility to pass a very thorough background check and drug screeningKnowledge of printing, binding, finishing, andor packaging equipment a big plusAll information kept in strict confidence.
