Investment Banking Associate 2/3 - TMT

Oaklands Global are currently working with a prestigious global bank with offices in 10+countries. In the last few years, they've had an exceptional trajectory of growth with the acquisition of several boutique banks, and they are continuing to grow further their Tech group. We are looking for a second- or third-year Associate with a strong track record in Tech M&A closed deals and previous Analyst experience. This bank is a sector-focused and idea-driven solutions platform with access from global capital markets to institutional and corporate clients. Their unique global perspective and cross-border capabilities puts them in the perfect position to identify opportunities across multiple regions.Key Responsibilities:Assist senior bankers in sourcing potential acquisition targets and draft LOIs with target companies.Performing extensive valuation, due-diligence, and pricing analyses as well as financial modelling.Frequent meetings with prospective targets, clients, senior bankers, and other transaction advisors.Coordination of transaction processes, including capital raises and advisory transactions.Preparation of proposals, transaction anize and participate in marketing and client meetings.Qualifications4 + years M&A experience with a focus in the technology sector coverage. MBA or undergraduate degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, Economics) from a top tier schools.Previous experience leading and managing projects.Excellent organizational, execution and time management skills.Team player with competitive drive.Strong communication and presentation skills and able to work with tight deadlines.Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving ability.Proven quantitative and technical skills Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPointFINRA Series 63 and 79 registrations.Why work with Oaklands Global?Oaklands Global has 50 years combined experience supporting candidates at all levels to help identify and secure their next position.
