Our client, a private equity owned company hoping to go public in 2-3 years, has engaged us to identify a Senior Tax Accountant. This position reports directly to the Tax Manage. This role provides a Hybrid work-from-home schedule with corporate offices in Los Angeles. This company is a leader in their industry and has experienced exponential growth. Their leadership team is comprised of world class executives with exceptional industry experience.The RoleThis position will be primarily focusing on meeting the Company's tax compliance and reporting needs, specifically in the Partnership tax area. The ideal candidate is a team player who has experience in tax return preparation and a solid understanding of common tax rules and regulations and is knowledgeable in accounting principles.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Assist with coordinating and ensuring the timely filing of the Company's federal, state and local income tax returns, including reviewing the workpapers prepared by the external service providersMaintain the master tax filing tracker, the correspondence tracker and the payment trackerAssist in preparing quarterly partnership taxable income projectionAssist with tax research projects and preparing memosAssist in the resolution of federal, state and local tax notices and auditsMaintain Company's organizational chartManage Fixed Assets with Sage Fixed AssetsIdentify process improvements for various tax processes, implement changes for best practicesPerform other duties as requested by the managementPreferred Education andor Work Experience Requirements:BS in Accounting or Tax (or related major)CPA license is preferred, Sage FAS experience preferredA minimum of at least 2 years of tax experience including the above dutiesMust be detail oriented, resourceful and organizedAbility to multi-task and work in tight timeframes and deadlinesExcellent oral and written communication skillsSuperior interpersonal abilities and a team player.
