Position Overview:We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Real Estate Paralegal with solid experience in all facets of commercial real estate transactions. This individual will support attorneys in the handling of purchases, sales, financing, and leasing transactions, including title and survey reviews. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. As part of our team, the paralegal will ensure that all real estate transactions are completed efficiently while complying with all legal requirements.Key Responsibilities:Title and Survey Review: Conduct thorough title and survey reviews for commercial real estate transactions, identifying any issues and working closely with attorneys to resolve discrepancies.Transaction Management: Assist in the preparation and review of contracts, leases, deeds, closing documents, and other related documentation for commercial real estate transactions.Due Diligence: Coordinate due diligence activities, including lien searches, zoning compliance, and environmental reports, and gather required documentation for real estate closings.Closing Coordination: Facilitate and manage all aspects of the closing process, ensuring timely completion of transactions and accurate filing of documents.Liaison: Act as a liaison between clients, lenders, title companies, surveyors, and other parties to ensure smooth communication and transaction progression.Document Preparation: Draft and review various legal documents, including purchase and sale agreements, amendments, closing checklists, and lease agreements.Post-Closing Matters: Organize and manage post-closing activities, including tracking critical dates, updating closing binders, and maintaining records in accordance with company standards.Financing Support: Assist in preparing loan documents for real estate financings, including promissory notes, mortgages, and related agreements.Leasing: Support attorneys in commercial leasing matters, including the preparation of lease agreements, amendments, and tenant communications.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a paralegal, specifically in commercial real estate transactions.Education: Bachelor's degree andor Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program.Skills:Strong experience in title and survey reviews, purchase and sale agreements, leasing, and real estate financing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, as well as independently.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and legal research tools.We offer a competitive starting salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
