We developed a comprehensive layer that captures and encodes patient encounters with unmatched precision by weaving AI into health tech, drug discovery, population health, and payer processes.We are seeking Knowledge Graph Engineer to join our Semantic Web Team in playing an integral part of a wide array of projects aimed at virtualizing vast amounts of complex medical terminology and delivering a more comprehensive and responsive source of clinical terminology to healthcare professionals.This person will utilize expertise in architecture and tooling to harmonize and leverage complex data sources including developing automated methods for large-scale data ingestion, manipulation, visualization, and delivery. An example of our latest project includes a platform that integrates LLM content generation, entity recognition, normalization, the layered use of multiple graphs for data enrichment, LLM verification of newly generated data, and the development of numerous APIs.ResponsibilitiesBecome an expert in all areas of development within our graph data team and work on cross-functional projects including Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and AI techniques driven from our cutting edge platformTake part in all stages of the software life cycle including DevOps to ensure that our semantic web processes and resources operate optimally meeting the needs of our internal and external clientsWork closely with the Semantic Architect to standardize the tooling, approaches, and patterns that can be broadly used and partner on design challengesDesign and write quality source code, including documentation of detail level designsLeverage automation across testing, integration, and deployment activitiesWork hand-in-hand with product owners to break down features into actionable user storiesFind, evaluate, recommend, and reason against existing ontologies that may be applicable to our workDesign and publish ontologies to describe the core concepts of our domain when other sources are non existent or incompleteRefine and grow the governance process for graph dataAid in the implementation, growth, and maturation of the use of an enterprise ontology graph data management softwareQualificationsRequiredBS in Computer Science or related field5+ years of software engineering, 3+ years of semantic web developmentProficiency in PythonExperience with semantic web languages (RDFS, OWL, SPARQL, etc)Proficiency in database querying (SQL or NoSQLSPARQL) Experience working with instance-level graph data & ontology developmentmaintenanceExperience with graph data curation tools (TopBraid EDG, PoolParty, Anzo, Semaphore)Familiar with agile development, CICD, & utilizing technologies such as GIT, JenkinsPreferredExperience with JavaScript, C#, Clojure, or JavaImplementation of data constraints using SHACLExposure to AWS and Terraform including working with graph data in NeptuneExperience mentoring and leading junior engineers, communicating between departments and stakeholders, and leading teams to decision makingKnowledge of Healthcare Ontologies and Healthcare Standard Terminologies (LOINC, SNOMED-CT, RxNorm, ICD10-CM)Benefits100% Remote WorkCompetitive compensation package including Equity, 401K matching, and Performance BonusMedical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance, Mental health benefits, FSA, etcUnlimited PTO, Holidays, and moreEmail Your Resume In Word ToLooking forward to receiving your resume through our website and going over the position with you.
