The Controller will be the financial business partner to general management, will lead accounting and finance staff, own the P&L for a large dealership and provide actionable financial data along with detailed business results analysis, and provide strategic, solutions-based guidance. In addition, the Controller will manage all accounting operations, coordinate the monthly close with multiple departments, develop forecasts, manage all treasurycash management, report financial results, manage insurance coverage, implement internal controls, best practices and process excellence. Key ChallengesDevelop relationships as an initiative-taking, trusted financial business partner to executive leadership providing professional guidance and identifying and communicating business, financial and industry trends. Excellent benefits: Health, 401K with a match and a company car with insurance.Skills & Educational Requirements:A bachelor's degree in finance or accounting and at least 10 years of experience that combines, management, accounting, financial reporting, budgeting & forecasting, and detailed analysis. Prior auto dealership experience is a must. Experience partnering with executive management as a trusted financial business partner providing guidance and driving results.Experience with CDK or related dealership software required along with advanced Excel skills.A CPA or MBA is preferred.Confidence, effective communication skills and the ability to present to senior business leaders and be persuasive.Leadership and experience managing junior staff members.
