River City Transport is hiring full-time CDL A OTR Dry Van Drivers in the Midwest. River City Transport is a family owned and operated asset-based provider with terminals in the Midwest and west coast. RCT is looking to add OTR and regional drivers in your market. Compensation: Average annual pay: $95,000+ Top driver annual pay: $115,000+ 50 - 56 CPM based on experience and driving record Average weekly miles: 3,000+ All miles paid, loaded & unloaded Guaranteed Pay: $1,000 per week Additional Pay: Breakdown Pay: $150 per day if no replacement unit is available Layover Pay: $150 Detention Pay: $20 per hour after 2 free hours Clean inspection report Level I Inspection: $100.00 Level II Inspection: $50.00 Extra holiday pay: $150 incentive for driving on a holiday (7 holidays per year) Bonuses: Referral bonus: $1,500 paid in increments over 1 year Quarterly Safety Bonus: $250 - $1,000 Safe driving (no accidents or infractions) 100% On time deliveries & pick ups Paid weekly via direct deposit Benefits & Perks: Great company benefits starting after 90 days: Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401 (k) Retirement Program with company match Life Insurance Paid Time Off: After 1 year of service: 5 days After 3 years of service: 10 days Paid Orientation: Approximately 1 day with $150 pay Passenger program: Minimum of 16 years of age Pet friendly upon approval Take your truck home program Home Time, Route, & Schedule Home time: 1 day home for each week on the road Schedule: On the road 2 - 4+ weeks at a time Route: Primarily west & midwest states Level of Touch: 100% No-touch freight, mostly drop & hook Equipment: Freightliner Sleepers All trucks are automatic Amenities: Refrigerators, XM radio, new mattresses, heated & cooled seats Governed Speed: 73 MPH on the pedal, 70 MPH on cruise Outward cameras, event triggered ELD equipped using Motive system Tablet included in truck Qualifications: Must be at least 23 years of age Must have CDL A license Must have a minimum of 2 year verifiable commercial tractor-trailer driving experience No DUI's or felony driving convictions in the last 5 years No major violations in the last 3 years No more than 3 minor violations in the last 3 years Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations Must be able to pass a background check and required pre-employment drug screen Hiring Area: River City is primarily hiring in the following midwest states: IA, IL, WI, IN, MI, OH, MO, KS, MN Will consider drivers nationwide
