Discover . This Staff Role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the security, efficiency, reliability, and scalability of our cloud infrastructure and related operations. This position will manage core AWS infrastructure in a sophisticated multi-account environment and will also manage some parts of the environment. This position will enable teams to own their infrastructure by directly supporting them, producing standards and guidelines and automation platforms to lower friction. This role directly impacts the efficiency of the businesses to deploy applications, maintain or reduce infrastructure costs and accelerate the time-to-market for new products and solutions thereby ultimately enhancing overall business performance and competitiveness in the market. ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & KEY PERFORMANCE OUTCOMES Architect, implement, and optimize cloud-based solutions Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy robust, automated systems that support the organization's mission-critical applications and services Monitor and maintain the health of our cloud environment by identifying and resolving issues proactively resulting in minimal downtime and incidents Drive continuous improvement and innovation across our CloudOps and DevOps practices Participant in the on-call rotation Leverage industry best practices Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 8 + years of AWS cloud experience 8 + years experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation 8 + years of production grade coding experience with languages such as Bash, Python and Golang for scripting and automation of services 5 + years of experience with containerization, the docker ecosystem and related tooling 5 + years of experience with advanced AWS networking technologies such as VPC and Transit Gateway based technologies Preferred Skills Experience with GCP preferred Experience with Kubernetes technologies and ability to design and diagnose production grade deployments at scale is preferred A solid grasp of cloud security and best practices and an understanding of compliance standards such as HIPAA and HITRUST is preferred Strong collaboration and communication skills Ability to design and present complex topics to the team Adept at critical thinking and problem solving ***The US base salary range for this full-time position is: $143,327.23 - $214,990.85 The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
