POSITION SUMMARY Seeking a Civil Engineer II to support the firms progressive and dynamic civil and environmental engineering team. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Assist with the preparation and modification of various engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates and design plans for projects Lead or assist with preparation of construction documents Work with junior, mid-level, and senior team members of various disciplines on project tasks and assignments Develop unique solutions to solve problems encountered during design Develop and work within budget and schedule Prepare plan drawings, technical specifications, design documentation reports, bid quantities, and construction cost estimates. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION 3-5+ years of post graduate professional experience Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent Experience in preparing and advancing plan set packages through all project phases In depth knowledge of civil/structural standards, methods and practices. Experience with tools such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, LDT, Hydro CAD, Flowmasters, StormCAD, etc Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, strong attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication skills DESIRED ADDITIONAL EXPERIENCE Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred, or the intention to complete registration At the time of posting this job, the hiring range for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000 annually. Final salary decisions are made based upon the extent and relatedness of the candidate's education and experience and considering internal equity and external market factors. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and must already possess long-term work authorization.
