Senior Finance Manager, Brand Finance Position Summary: LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior Finance Manager, Brand Finance to join our clients Finance Department, reporting to the Finance Director, Brand Finance, you will be the primary finance business partner for several beverage industry business portfolios, supporting our clients premium distilled brands. This role will be instrumental in bringing financial insights to support decision-making and ensure they are driving profitable growth for the brands and the wider portfolio. Working alongside other contributors within the Business Performance team, the role will provide performance analyses to key commercial and marketing partners. Primary stakeholders include the wider Finance team, Marketing and Commercial teams (Global and US), and Supply Chain. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility Criteria Major Responsibilities: Monthly Rolling Forecast and Strategic Long-Range Planning: Prepare and manage the monthly rolling forecast and contribute to strategic long-range planning. Topline Performance and P&L Monitoring: Review and monitor topline performance and P&L for the brands within the scope. Monthly Performance Analysis: Conduct monthly performance analysis and provide commentary on internal and external trends (e.g., depletions, Nielsen, NABCA) for senior management/stakeholder presentations. Business Case Preparation: Prepare business cases to support brand-related commercial decisions, including price changes, promotional strategy changes, product/range extensions, and innovation. Pricing Strategy Governance: Govern brands pricing strategies and identify and implement revenue optimization opportunities in partnership with Commercial Finance. Commercial and Strategic Reviews: Prepare commercial and strategic reviews related to the brand and other ad hoc senior management/stakeholder presentations. A&P Budget Management: Track and manage brand Advertising & Promotion (A&P) budgets in conjunction with the brand marketing team. Special Projects: Undertake special projects and assignments as required. Requirements: Bachelors degree required, preferably in Finance, Accounting, or Economics. MBA Preferred Minimum 7+ years in a financial planning and analysis or commercially focused business analytics role with demonstrable career progression. Robust experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and analysis. Industry experience preferable but not essential. Highly analytical with the ability to evaluate varied business KPIs and large amounts of data to produce clear financial recommendations. Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to develop clear and concise messaging for senior management. Very collaborative, ready to build strong relationships as a close partner to the brand team and with the internal finance team as well as across the organization cross-functionally. Ability to successfully interact with non-finance departments, understanding their key requirements and tailoring data and messaging accordingly. Capable of bringing structure and clarity to decision-making in an ambiguous environment. Proactive in influencing and challenging business assumptions based on insight and analytics. Ability to understand market/category dynamics and clearly articulate strategic priorities for the business from finance, commercial, and brand perspectives. At ease in analyzing, managing, and modeling sub-brand level profitability. Able to compile business cases taking into account the sensitivities of assumptions. Detail-oriented, taking a thorough approach with a high level of accuracy. Ability to manage numerous work streams simultaneously to tight timelines.
