Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing installation; performing acceptance tests. Responsibilities Maintains equipment by completing installation of components and devices Serve existing accounts by analyzing work orders; plan daily travel schedule; investigate complaints, and conduct maintenance tests Receive work requests; study diagrams, drawings and specifications; test systems and components; determine cause of problems and requirements to solve problems Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs Maintains organized and accurate inventory levels of install equipment and merchandise Plan for upcoming field jobs; keep tools and test equipment complete Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records Fault isolating and troubleshooting Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods and techniques; recommending system improvements Manage competing priorities in a complex environment Use appropriate security and safety procedures Additional duties as assigned Qualifications Education & Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Some college preferred BICSI Certification a plus 3 years minimum experience required Skills & Abilities Visio and AutoCAD a plus Analytical and problem solving skills Interpersonal skills to interact with customers, team members, and support personnel Ability to convey a professional image and deal confidently with technical problems Excellent customer service, telephone, and verbal communication skills Ability to read schematic drawings Ability to work on a flexible schedule Ability to utilize test equipment and hand tools to perform work Ability to maintain customer confidence by keeping service information confidential Travel 75% of the time on short notice Education & Experience High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Some college preferred BICSI Certification a plus 3 years minimum experience required Travel 75% of the time on short notice What We Offer Comprehensive benefits include: Medical, dental, and vision insurance programs 401K plans with employer-matching contributions Tuition reimbursement PTO Paid holidays Volunteer time off For more information about benefits, please go to: Leviton is an EEO/AA Employer.
