Job Description MUST currently possess and have the ability to hold a TS/SCI with a Poly. As a recognized authority and leading contributor within their practice, this senior-level consulting position provides consistent high quality and innovative cloud implementation leadership to a project team. Leads the implementation design and customer aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. Able to provide tenancy, hybrid, and edge implementations. Analyzes business needs to help ensure Oracle solution meets the customer's objectives by combining industry best practices, product knowledge, and business acumen. Exercises judgment and technical cloud knowhow in selecting methods and techniques to deliver functional and technical solutions on routine, non-routine, and very complex aspects of applications and technology installations. Provides direction and mentoring to project teams, and effectively influences customer leadership on key decisions. Supports the business development efforts by pursuing new opportunities and extensions. Collaborates with the consulting sales team by providing domain expertise. Resolves complex customer issues by recommending and implementing solutions. Demonstrates expertise in multiple business processes across two or more product families or ability to architect and design technology solutions encompassing multiple products and make decisions based on impact across the stack. Willing and able to put hands on keyboards during all phases of implementation, testing, and delivery. 8-10 years of experience relevant to this position including 4 years of consulting experience. Prior team leadership or management experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Strong influencing and negotiation skills. Ability to travel as needed. Career Level - IC3 Responsibilities Analyze business needs and provide recommendations on how to program the product hierarchy to address the customer's specifications. Write custom reports and exports, and make modifications to the solution to meet customer's needs. Assist with end-user training and take the solution live on the tenancy after everything has been configured and everyone is trained. Mentor and develop lower level Implementation Consultants. May assist in a pre-sales / post-sales capacity to help drive new sale. Responsible for identifying the utility of virtualization and automation tools from the operations side and the process and skill set of the development side. Understands what is happening with a cloud application and develops and manages the tools to automatically respond. Collects and applies data from monitoring and alerting to establish a dynamic, reactive environment. Identifies tools and programs that best fit a workload and how best to incorporate them into system that meets requirements. Preferred Qualifications: Experience as a contractor in the Intelligence Community. (Preferred with Non-DoD Agencies) Experience with CI/CD pipelines Technical expertise and hands on experience as an architect and a software engineer with knowledge for applying these skills to cloud, data and analytics, cyber security, and customer mission challenges. Experience or training with variety of Oracle technologies including the applicability and usage of these technologies by customers. Cloud certifications are a plus. Passion for technology, the curiosity and willingness to constantly learn new skills, work with new tools and discover new and innovative approaches to solving complex technical challenges. Practical experience with Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, etc. Experience in implementing and managing computer ecosystems in Oracle Cloud, AWS, Azure, or other Cloud environments. Skilled with writing automation scripts and understand advanced software development practices and how to implement agile development practices. The ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and, vice versa, translate functional needs to technical solutions The ability to lead a team of developers. Experience with microservices, swagger and API definitions. Experience with containerization, Linux, IaC, Terraform, Kubernetes, microservices Experience with pub/sub, messaging, notifications, events, and topics Experience with FaaS and cloud serverless architectures Familiarization with authentication mechanisms like OAuth, Basic Auth, mTLS and API keys. Experience with cloud high availability and scalability best practices and architectures. Good communication and collaboration skills, comfortable interacting with internal and external stakeholders Bachelors and nine (9) years or more experience in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent work experience. Masters and seven (7) years or more experience. Three (3) or more years of experience with back-end web or RESTful API development Five (5) or more years of experience with any modern programming language including Python, Java, C#, Go Three (3) or more years of experience with CI/CD pipelines Three (3) or more years of experience of Cloud Native development using AWS, Azure, OCI, or GCP Three (3) or more years of experience with automating unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end testing. Three (3) or more years of experience with Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow. Five (5) or more years of experience with agile methodologies and tooling.
