JOB SUMMARY: The Senior Manager, Integration and Development will be primarily responsible for driving the software development process and execution for API and front-end development for Novocure's Enterprise Technology department. This role is critical to understanding the entire Novocure technology landscape, identify challenges, and deliver secure and scalable software solutions that align with best practices and corporate standards. The Senior Manager, Integration and Development will also be responsible for optimizing the development frameworks, tooling, and processes across the various developed products and capabilities that require software development. This role will work closely with teams across the organization, and partner with business process experts to derive solutions to organizational needs. This role will also be responsible for managing a team of dedicated software developers that build, manage, and support all custom built Novocure applications and products. The position will be responsible for developing a deep understanding of the business and technical processes, including establishing relationships with leaders and stakeholders, managing complex relationships among Enterprise Technology leaders, and being able to recommend the best technology solution based on project and/or business needs. This role will also interact heavily with trusted development partners to ensure cohesive technical approach, adherence to Novocure standards, and provide vision and clarity to incorporating new development projects into Novocure's technology ecosystem. This position will demonstrate strong communication and organizational skills to clearly articulate and educate the various teams on the organizational strategy and the rationale of the technology strategy identified. This is a full-time, exempt position located in our Chesterbrook, PA office (remote employee acceptable) reporting to the Associate Director, Platform APIs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Build and articulate a thoughtful approach and strategy to the software development at Novocure, as defined by API and Front End development Assess all current technology tooling and processes and identify areas for enhancement Align all custom development efforts into an agile software development methodology, incorporating elements of Scrum and sAFE Lead software development projects and support for all developed projects Cultivate a customer-service mindset and build strong relationships across the organization Translate and communicate complex technology challenges or enhancements into tangible solutions that can be delivered by Enterprise Technology and development partners Be able to manage complex relationships with both internal stakeholders and external vendors Solve complex business challenges through custom built technology Partner with Business Process Engineering to guide custom development needs for all organizational technology portfolios Perform other duties and projects, as assigned QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE: Experience with software engineering, data integration, and cloud technology platforms Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or related field 12+ years of experience in highly respected technology, biotech, consulting, or related firms Excellent understanding of technical landscapes, specifically inclusive of SAP, Microsoft, and the software delivery lifecycle Deep knowledge of industry best practices as it pertains to software development and agile software delivery Excellent understanding of SaaS platforms, complex data integrations, cyber security, and industry best practices for software and technology architecture Excellent written and oral presentation skills Demonstrated ability to communicate with senior leaders, effectively push back and ask questions that generate solutions (strong risk management skills) Medical technology, specialty pharmaceutical, or durable medical equipment experience preferred Multi-national corporate knowledge preferred OTHER: Travel up to 40% Ability to lift up to 20 pounds Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/veterans.
