We are currently seeking Sales Manager - Americas , to be based in Carol Stream, IL (preferred) . This dynamic leader will guide our direct sales team, and dedicated dealer network, across North, Central and South America in daily activities, opportunity capture, lead creation, and selling activities. They will be responsible for achieving our overall sales goal, and help the team set and achieve their individual territory sales goals as well. They will also play an integral role in our GTM strategies, by finding new paths to success, key accounts, and customers, in our dedicated end markets. This sales professional will also utilize the 80/20 discipline to maintain a focused market approach, with a customer first mentality, to over deliver on pre and post sales product support and service. Job Description Essential Functions: Lead the activities of the sales team to obtain leads, create opportunities, and generate quotations for all targeted markets. Set, and achieve regional, and national revenue goals, both in order write and invoiced dollars. Maintain bi-monthly sales communication to collect VOC and keep a pulse on the market, and team. Develop and drive the organization's competitive position in sales. Formulate proven solutions to combat competitive actions in the field to achieve sales requirements. Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasts used for monthly, quarterly and annual planning activities. Partners with product manager, operations, and global sales leadership to ensure customer requirements are met. Build and maintain relationships with internal stake holders to support needs of the Company. Directs the continuing appraisal of pricing, and other policies and procedures of the team. Recommends changes that would improve the effectiveness of achieving the objectives of the team. Develops new business by identifying and promoting target opportunity areas in core end markets. Embrace Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) software in order to accomplish: A data base of pipeline opportunities. Drive these opportunities to a successful close as quickly as possible. Sales process actions items are identified and acted upon by date and responsibilities. Key account management, with the assistance of the regional account managers. Manages team in a manner that supports a positive work environment for all team members. Leads problem-solving activities in this area as necessary. Attract, develop, retain, and deploy strong talent, through internal and external resources. Additional duties and tasks as assigned. Qualifications H.S. degree required. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Eight or more years of progressive, successful, experience in sales and marketing in an industrial products manufacturing company is required; with at least 3 years of sales management experience. Welding experience with hand or orbital fusion welding required. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred. Demonstrated track record of driving growth and development of previous employer(s). Demonstrated ability to develop and execute sales strategies that ensure the achievement of product revenue, market share and margin goals. Ability to influence others and conduct effective negotiations. Demonstrated ability to make sound, accurate decisions. Supports decision with facts and reasoning. Includes appropriate people in the decision-making process. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of team members in a manufacturing environment. Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers. Ability to effectively problem-solve and lead problem-solving activities of a team. Computer proficiency in a Windows environment required, preferably with Office 365 applications including Power Point, Word and Excel Excellent customer service skills. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Approximately 50% domestic travel, and 15% international travel (Europe, Latin America) is required.
